Reservation Policy


To rent an accommodation or a room, you must be at least 21 years old and you must be present during the stay. An ID piece could be asked as a proof during the registration.

When booking a reservation, 30% of the total amount before taxes will be billed as a deposit to confirm your stay.

The rest of the amount will be charged upon departure.

A refundable deposit of a 150$ could be required. This amount must be available on a credit card and will be required upon arrival when you receive your keys. If a credit card is non-available, this amount must be paid cash and will be refunded at check-out, after a room check.


Accepted paiment methods

Credit card (Visa and Mastercard), debit card and cash are accepted.

If you are planning to arrive after 8pm, let us know by calling 418-342-1111 or toll free 1-877-342-7933, we will explain what you need to do to get the keys.

The keys must be handed back to the reception or put in the box provided for this purpose at check-out. A $10 fee will be charged per missing key.

Cleaning

The units are cleaned after the client’s check-out. During your stay, you are responsible for your accommodation cleanliness.

Towels and other accessories are not replaced by our staff. You can change the towels at the reception desk during our business hours.

On check-out time we ask you to:

  • Take the trash and the recyclable material and put them in the appropriate bins near the reception office or near your accommodation.
  • Wash and put back all the dishes and utensils ($50 fee)


Cancellation Policy

We are aware the tourist business is facing uncertain times actually. For this reason, our cancellation policy is very flexible. Furthermore, if you are obliged to cancel because of a regulation/events out of your control, we will refund you without any problem. We are here to support you in this special context.

More than 7 days before your stay
The deposit is totally refunded.

Between 7 days and 48 hours before the stay
The deposit is kept as a penalty.

48 hours and less before the stay
The total amount of the stay is required.


Site policies


Tobacco and illicit substances policy

It is prohibited to smoke in our our units, reception rooms, Nordic baths and Health Center. All illicit substances are strictly prohibited anywhere on the site.

A $500 fee will be charged on the credit card of the violator.


Alcohol policy

Alcohol is permitted only in the accommodation units. It is prohibited on the site and the nordic baths areas.

However, licenses can be acquired for special occasions such as office parties or group retreats.

*No abuse will be tolerated. Fees could be charged for disturbances.


Animals

Animals are permitted on the site, but not inside our facilities (reception rooms, accommodations, Health Center and Nordic baths). A $150 fee will be charged if we discover the presence of animals in places where it is prohibited.


Curfew

To maintain a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere, there is a curfew from 11pm to 8am. We ask for your collaboration to respect the peacefulness of the place. An additional fee of minimum $150 could be charged on your credit card for excessive noise, racket or other disturbances.

Health Center and Nordic baths reservation policy


Nordic baths access is not included in the accommodation price. A special price is available if you book your reservation using our website or by phone.

Massages or other Health Center treatments prices are not included in the accommodation price.

For the Nordic baths, bring: a towel, a tuque if it is winter, sandals, bathing suit and a water bottle. A bathrobe is not mandatory, you can bring your own or rent one for a 15$ plus taxes fee.

More than 48 hours before the appointment
Nothing is charged.

Less than 48 hours before the appointment
The total amount of the reservation is charged.

Damages and harm

By confirming his reservation, the client accepts the responsability of any damage, missing item, unreasonable harm to neighbors or any other prejudice caused on the site. The client authorizes Chalets et Spa Lac-Saint-Jean to charge his credit card to pay those fees.
